Job description
- Reinforce HSE awareness as required
- Participate randomly to the TBT and the associated checks (PPE, isolations, postures, tools, risk mitigation effectiveness, etc.)
- Provide feedback and coaching
- Conduct site visits at work site together with Performing Authorities during PtW preparation
- Supervise and coach work teams during PtW audits at site; assist in follow-up on potential findings
- Provide guidance and coaching to the Performing Authorities on PtW preparation
- Verify that work permits are fully compliant with requirements and properly documented
- Verify that work permits reflect site specific hazards with adequate mitigations
- Coordinate the approval process and issuance of work permits
- Assist OIM in de-conflicting potential co-activities - Support Performing Authorities in identifying scopes for Routine permits; assist in the development of Routine Permits where applicable
- Assist HSE Superintendent in conducting Root Cause Analysis, Technological Risk Assessment, Kick- off Meetings, SIMOPS visits and Downgraded Situations (DGS) evaluation
- Assist OIM in auditing DGS and long-term isolation mitigations to ensure that they are in place
- Contribute for Synergi reports, safety alerts, etc.
- Assist OIM in preparing emergency drills and record/follow up on potential findings
- Contribute to HSE Dossier implementation and follow-up
- Facilitate Safety Observation Card (SOC) follow-up
- Contribute to the HSE induction process
- Ensure proper follow-up on maintenance/inspection of harnesses, portable detectors, special PPE, breathing apparatus, etc.
Qualifications/Experience required
- Min. 10 years of experience from a similar position within HSE - Preferably with a technical background
- You have safety coaching skills and know when to apply these to improve performance
- You are familiar with risk assessment and accident investigation, key safety legislation/regulations and process safety management
- Good communication skills in English
- Experience in Microsoft Office
