Your position
At Semco Maritime we are experiencing massive growth, we are therefore busy with assessing our project processes to ensure that they are optimized so we can carry out our work in an efficient manner. So if you have an interest in project management and would like to be Semco's next project specialist, this is the job for you

This is where you come in!
We are in need of someone who is passionate about taking on new challenges and is motivated by seeing a project through from start to finish, keeping track of the process and ensuring the implementation. You will play a key part in building the future of Semco Maritime and improving our business practices.

Your tasks and responsibilities
You will be joining our highly skilled team in our HSEQ department, where you will be responsible for everything from carrying out process assessments and identifying improvement areas to carrying out projects.

Your tasks will include but are not limited to:

  • Assisting HSEQ in developing processes, tools and templates that supports the strategy and focus areas
  • Special projects work with initiatives of strategic importance within and across divisions
  • Teaching new project managers in Semco`s Project Execution Model.
  • Driving Internal Improvement projects.
  • Project assessments in all four divisions.

Your qualifications and skills
You should thrive in a fast-paced environment where you are an expert in ensuring that the bigger picture is not lost. You Are an excellent communicator who excels at establishing and maintaining interpersonal relationships with colleagues, managers and employees. You are diplomatic and tactful, even in stressful situations.

To succeed in this position, we expect that you:

  • Have a relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree
  • Have relevant experience within various disciplines of project management.
  • Previously worked with continuous improvement.
  • Possess good English skills, written and spoken.
