Your position 

In your new role as a Quality Specialist in Semco, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and enhancing the lessons learned process. You'll lead workshops, analyze key issues, and provide strategic recommendations to drive continuous improvement across projects, ultimately contributing to significant advancements in the global energy sector.

Your place of work will be [at our Global HQ located in Esbjerg, the hub of the Danish energy industry, right on the waterfront – views do not get any better than this. The position is full-time, and you can expect to travel 20 days per year. 

Your tasks & responsibilities 

As a Quality Specialist you will be responsible for managing and enhancing the Lessons Learned process. Your role will involve organizing workshops, conducting follow-up meetings, analyzing issues, and providing recommendations to drive continuous improvement.

Your tasks will include but are not limited to:

  • Organize and lead workshops to capture lessons learned from various project phases. 
  • Schedule and manage follow-up meetings to ensure thorough discussion and understanding of identified issues. 
  • Investigate and analyze selected problem areas to determine root causes and impacts.

  • Coordinate input from across divisions and provide improvement suggestions to the Quality Specialist responsible for the Lessons Learned database and related procedures to ensure they remain.

Your profile & qualifications 

We are seeking an outgoing and positive person who is passionate about project management and aims to make a significant impact in this field. You bring a proactive and organized approach to your work and are eager to delve deep into process improvement initiatives.

To succeed in this position, we imagine that you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in project management, process improvement, or a related role
  • Strong facilitation and presentation skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency in stakeholder management and ability to navigate complex organizational structures.
  • Possess good English skills, written and spoken.
