Are you a specialist in procurement tool implementation with a passion for optimizing purchasing processes? We are seeking a skilled and experienced maternity cover to lead the implementation of our new procurement spend tool. 

Your position 

As our new Procurement Specialist in the Group Support Function division, you will be a valuable member of the dedicated Procurement Center of Excellence. Our mission is to serve as a strategic partner that empowers business divisions by providing optimized processes, procurement supporting tools, and ensuring data accuracy and strategic alignment for enhanced efficiency and value creation. Above all, your work will make a real change for the global energy sector. 

Your place of work will be at our Global HQ located in Esbjerg, the hub of the Danish energy industry, right on the waterfront – views do not get any better than this. The position is full-time maternity cover until end 2025.

Your tasks & responsibilities 
As a Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining procurement spend reporting.

Your tasks will include but are not limited to:

  • Conducting data maintenance and governance.
  • Working in collaboration with procurement in different divisions.
  • Identify and analyze current processes and requirements in collaboration with relevant teams.
  • Develop a detailed implementation plan, including timelines and milestones.
  • Ensure successful tool onboarding by training users and providing support.
  • Collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders to secure optimal functionality and data integration.
  • Report progress and identify opportunities for further improvement.

Your profile & qualifications 

We are looking for an outgoing and positive Procurement Professional who is passionate about optimizing processes by using digital tools and wants to leave their personal mark on it. You have a proactive and organised approach to your work and are eager to improve as is.

To succeed in this position, we imagine that you have:

  • Knowledge about ERP system IFS, and good understanding of the PO to pay process.
  • Have a business mindset with the ability to create technical solutions
  • Preferred experience with implementing procurement or spend management tools.
  • Project management and cooperation skills.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into insights.
  • Experience in building and maintaining Power BI reports
  • Strong communication skills in both English and Danish.
