Your position
As a Team Leader in Site Operations you will be responsible for a team comprised of specialised and experienced employees working with construction, installation, and commissioning of substations for offshore Windfarms. The team of approx. 8-12 people delivers for example, site engineering, planning, site supervision and commissioning, and is located at our construction yards in Europe and Asia.
With reference to the Site Operations Director, you will be an integral part of the business unit delivering invaluable resources to the project team. You will be expected to form strong working relationships with e.g., your direct reports, project management and other technical departments. Above all, your work will make a real difference in meeting the world’s growing energy demand.

Your tasks & responsibilities
In this role, you will lead your team, setting a clear direction, to ensure that the right team is set for all our projects, manage recruitment and development of the team, and ensure a consistent focus on driving performance and initiatives related to cost-effectiveness.
Your tasks will include but are not limited to:
- Act as a role model for safety.
- Planning and delivering qualified team members for projects based on project demands.
- Leading and managing the team, including hiring, onboarding, training, motivating and coaching employees.
- Responsible for the team members performing their work with high quality and technical insight.
- Monitor performance, in order to give performance reviews and provide feedback for development.
- Collaborating and coordinating with Project management and other technical areas.
Your profile
As a Team Leader, you are assertive, nurture a trust-building environment and carry the ability to delegate and empower people effectively. You know that it is all about creating results through building a strong, motivated, and engaged team. You are focused, structured, solution-oriented and handle stakeholders proactively.
To succeed in this position, we expect that you have the following qualifications:
- Have a proven track record with management – either through project management and/or Team Lead roles
- Experience with remote team management
- a Bachelor’s or Master’s in management related studies
- Fluency in written and verbal English
- It would also be desirable if you have relevant experience from the Energy industry and preferably also from the offshore wind industry
