As student assistant you will join our dedicated People & Organization team based at our headquarter in Esbjerg, Denmark. Your primary role will be supporting the Global HR Project Manager with a wide range of tasks within project administration and project management.
Student assistants are an important part of the VIKING organization. Many of our students also complete their internships with us and write their thesis about real life projects and challenges in VIKING.

Your primary responsibilities and tasks include supporting in project management and following up on global project and processes covering the employee lifecycle. You will also be working with:
- Supporting our digitalization agenda e.g. prepare HR master data reporting and analysis for projects and people initiatives
- Creating presentations and manuals
- Calender and meeting management and support with change management
- Global stakeholders across the organization to support implementation
- Ad hoc tasks within the project management field
You will work approximately 15 hours a week (2 full days) – with flexibility around exam periods.
Your profile
The ideal candidate:
- Is currently studying a bachelor's or master’s degree within the fields of Human Resources, Business administration, social sciences-or communication and have at least 2 years left of your studies
- Is structured, ambitious and has a detail-oriented approach to supporting your colleagues in People & Organization
- Possess great organizational skills and an analytical mindset
- Master Excel and is interested in data analytics
Since our corporate language is English, you have great English skills – both written and orally.
