At Semco Maritime we are looking for experienced employees with electrical, instrumentation and mechanical construction backgrounds to join us as offshore Discipline Engineers.
 
Your position 
You will have a challenging job in an international and ever-changing environment. You will be an important part of the offshore team that manages the offshore scope of work.

The offshore execution phase is currently going on in the Danish North Sea and the scope of work is a combination of maintenance and modification tasks.

The duration of the contract is estimated to be 9 months with the possibility of an extension.

Your tasks & responsibilities 
As our new discipline engineer you will work to ensure that the installations of electrical, instrumentation and mechanical discipline activities are carried out according to current quality standards and specified scope of work.
 
Your tasks will include but are not limited to:

  • Being responsible for the correct as-build and final handover to QC and 3rd party verification
  • Ensuring clear interfaces towards suppliers and subcontractors with respect to scope of work, system design and area design 
  • Ensuring qualified discipline participation within Quality Surveillance and follow-up of suppliers and sub-contractors 
  • Assisting in material & work scope overview & execution according to execution schedule
  • Being a focal point between CDTL and respective discipline foremen
  • Acting as a mentor for Discipline Foremen

Your profile & qualifications 
As a person you are positive, reliable and trustworthy, you enjoy keeping the overview of the given tasks and following up on work.
 
To succeed in this position, we expect that you have the following qualifications:

  • Engineering degree (MSc/BSc), or equivalent technical discipline qualification within instrument, electrical or mechanical may be considered.
  • Experience from a similar role as discipline engineer within electrical, process, instrument/control from offshore project commissioning and/or mechanical installation.
  • Good communication skills in written and verbal English
  • EDP user knowledge in SAP and Pims
