Do you have a passion for renewable energy and a sharp eye for technical details? Are you excited about managing projects from start to finish? If so, we want to hear from you!
Your position
As our new Project Manager in the Renewable division, you will be a valuable member of the Service Wind Modification team, whose mission is to execute modification projects across disciplines for offshore wind assets. You will have the chance to drive all aspects of the project process - from initial client inquiries to final execution. Moreover, this role provides an exciting opportunity for you to make a lasting impact on the projects you work on and to advance your professional development as a project manager.
“You will be part of a team of fantastic and competent colleagues that prioritizes teamwork and a "winning as a team" mentality. Our team values a flexible work atmosphere with an emphasis on balancing work and personal life, as well as opportunities for professional growth. In this role, you will have great opportunities to bring your own ideas to the table and play a key role in shaping our projects and services.” – Lars Ole Kjærvad, Head of Modifications
Your tasks & responsibilities
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing and executing modification projects with cross-functional teams, external partners, and customers. You will be responsible from the initiation and tender of the project, to deliver a solution and finally execute it offshore. This happens collaborating with various teams across the organisation and externally. While you can expect a steep learning curve, we will provide you with the needed training to ensure you succeed in your new role.
Your tasks will include but are not limited to:
- You will have the end-to-end responsibility for specific projects in the Service Modifications team, from tender, design, production, and execution.
- Driving projects with team members and stakeholders to reach deadlines, managing risk, scope, and budget.
- Coordinating project related activities across various teams internally and externally.
- Ensure proper and streamlined communication to stakeholders in all parts of the projects.
- Running smaller and bigger projects at the same time together with the project teams
- Coordinate and plan work packages for execution, both on- and offshore.
- Maintaining communication with clients and addressing their inquiries and concerns during initiation and execution of projects.
Your profile & qualifications
As a person, you enjoy having a lot of responsibility and you thrive in an environment where you have daily communication with many stakeholders. You are driven by completing tasks to the best of your ability and remain in control even in fast-paced situations. You have a safety focused mindset, and never compromise when it comes to safety on the job. Additionally, you are service-minded and greatly enjoy collaborating with your colleagues.
To succeed in this position, we imagine that you have:
- Experience as a Project Manager, Senior Project Manager or Program Manager from the wind industry.
- Broad know-how of wind asset systems and technologies from the Offshore wind industry.
- Basic knowledge of Electrical Systems and/or Mechanical Systems.
- The educational background is broad but could be as Marine Engineer, Technical Manager or Engineer that has developed to a Project Manager.
- Fluency in English, written and verbal.
- Experience with project management of larger and smaller scale projects or programs.
- Ability to communicate in German is an advantage, but not a requirement.
