Do you have a technical background combined with experience in the energy sector operations & maintenance? Then this might be your next career move. Semco Maritime is looking for a service engineer with a firefighting background to join our DK team to support the service and maintenance of our clients’ offshore operations around the world.

Your tasks & responsibilities

As a Firefighting Service Engineer, you will refer to our Service Manager, Products and Technologies. The tasks will include:

  • Actively searching for opportunities within your role
  • Contact to customers and clients.
  • Provide Service input to tenders/quotations.
  • Remote support for clients
  • Troubleshooting / Problem solving.
  • Production and review of work packages & RAMS
  • Hands on work (onshore & offshore) within Firefighting Systems (Water Mist, Deluge, Foam, Argonite, etc… )
  • Supervision of works (onshore & offshore)

Your profile & qualifications 

This role will suit an ambitious person with a strong technical background within the energy sector. The ideal candidate for us has:

  • You have a technical service background.
  • You have experience in operations and maintenance or project delivery.
  • You are self-motivated and able to plan your own work.
  • You are proactive and persistent in reaching the best solutions.
  • You are an excellent communicator.
  • You have experience in producing work packages including method statements and risk assessments.
  • You are used to and willing to travel to other areas where potential clients operate and to work offshore.

Your place of work will be at our Global HQ located in Esbjerg, the hub of the Danish energy industry, right on the waterfront – views do not get any better than this. The position is full-time, and you can expect to travel 100-150 days per year.
