Your position
In your onshore position as Senior Buyer Equipment in the Consulting Services team, you will be a valuable member of a dedicated team whose mission is to support our clients to achieve success in their projects within energy infrastructure in oil & gas.
Your place of work will be either at our Global HQ located in Esbjerg or at one of our locations in Copenhagen, Poland or UK.
The position is full-time and 10 - 50 travel days per year offshore and onshore to clients should be expected.

The set-up
You will be hired as a Semco Maritime employee and work in a team dedicated to one of our national or international customers.
Your tasks & responsibilities
As a Senior Buyer Equipment your tasks and responsibilities will encompass, but are not limited to:
- Main purpose of the role is to manage – as Task Lead - a multi discipline team to deliver a safe, high quality, costs and schedule effective execution within assigned modification alliance.
- Be part of extended leadership team within assigned modification alliance.
- As Task Lead manage several multi discipline tasks and projects.
- The role holder can have tasks and projects assigned on more than one asset.
- As Task Lead you also be nominated to both studies and execution phase projects.
- The Task Lead shall perform visits at fabrication, supplier and vendor sites.
- The tasks will depend on the specific client's needs.
Your profile & qualifications
We are looking for an experienced project leadership with a customer mindset, who is passionate about project execution and wants to leave their personal mark on the tasks. You have a proactive and organized approach to your work and are eager to contribute to our clients and your team's success.
To succeed in this position, we imagine that you have:
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in relevant engineering.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as Engineering Discipline Lead or Project Engineer or minimum 5 years of experience as Discipline Task Responsible.
- Experience to be relevant from topside modification projects with successfully performance/delivery.
- Good PEM Knowledge is required.
- Leader skills and experience.
- Customer mindset and experience within project leadership Strong work ethics and a proactive attitude.
- A commercial mindset and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- The ability to see solutions together with meeting customer expectations and requirements.
- The competency to be accurate, flexible and organized.
- Good communication skills written/spoken in both Norwegian and English.
