In your new position as Senior Electrical Engineer in our Projects Division, you will join a dedicated team of 14 fantastic and competent colleagues led by John K. Andersen, Project Director. Together, the team focuses on delivering cutting-edge electrical solutions for wind carriers, special vessels, and floating units. With a strong emphasis on innovation, energy efficiency, sustainability, and meeting industry standards, your work will leave a lasting mark on the energy sector.
Based at our Global HQ in Esbjerg, Denmark’s energy hub, you'll enjoy stunning waterfront views as part of your work environment. The position is full-time, and you can expect limited travel of approximately 10-30 days annually.
Your tasks & responsibilities As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and managing electrical projects while ensuring adherence to project budgets, schedules, and safety standards. You will also play a crucial role in implementing new technologies and running minor projects.
Your tasks will include but are not limited to:
- Designing and engineering electrical solutions.
- Managing and controlling project scopes and timelines.
- Preparing budgets and overseeing financial aspects of projects.
- Selecting and purchasing materials for projects.
- Preparing documentation and ensuring compliance with standards.
Your profile & qualifications We are looking for a structured, self-motivated individual who thrives on collaboration and mentorship. You are detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple tasks effectively, and embrace challenges with enthusiasm.
To succeed in this role, we imagine you have:
- A degree in Electrical Engineering or similar educational background.
- Proven experience in electrical engineering for projects of varying sizes.
- Familiarity with oil and gas or marine industries, preferably offshore or shipyard settings.
- Fluency in written and verbal English (Danish is a plus).
- Strong communication skills and a proactive, team-oriented mindset.
