Your position
In your role as a HVAC Engineer, you will be a valuable member of the newly established Consulting Services Department which is set to face tremendous growth in the coming years. Here, you will deliver HVAC system design for a major energy project for one of our most prominent clients. 

You will take part in the engineering for the HVAC scope of the project, as well as acting as a liaison between stakeholders to ensure the project's successful completion. This role will be a unique chance for you to utilize your expertise and experience in a large-scale project environment, while also making a real change for the global energy sector.  

Your place of work will be either at our Global HQ located in Esbjerg or from our office in Copenhagen. The position is full-time and 30-50 travel days per year offshore and onshore to clients should be expected.

Your tasks & responsibilities

As a HVAC Engineer, you will take part in the design, procurement and implementation of HVAC systems throughout all project stages.

Your tasks will include but are not limited to: 

  • Performing calculations, designs, equipment selection, and documentation.
  • Acting as Package Responsible Engineer (PRE) overseeing procurement and equipment follow-up and managing subcontractors.
  • Developing technical descriptions and proposals through customer interaction and team collaboration.
  • Monitoring subcontractors and participating in FAT/SAT tests.
  • Involvement in all project phases from concept studies to execution and commissioning.
  • Technical Input to planning and installation System HVAC design- and Calculations.
  • Experience form Offshore Oil and Gas industry or from Marine Engineering related to offshore construction.


Your profile & qualifications

You are driven by completing tasks to the best of your ability and remain in control even in fast-paced situations. You have a safety focused mindset, and never compromise when it comes to safety on the job. Additionally, you are service-minded and greatly enjoy collaborating with your colleagues.

To succeed in this position, we imagine that you have: 

  • Relevant technical education.
  • Knowledge and, preferably, experience in ventilation systems, direct expansion and water-based cooling systems.
  • Experience with relevant legislations- and standards. 
  • Preferably 2D/3D drawing- & modelling skills. 
  • Good communication skills written and spoken in English.
  • Good cooperative and teamwork skills.
