BEMÆRK: Ansøgningsfristen er overskredet

Would you like to work in a truly international environment, ensuring inspiring and safe surroundings for our lovely students in Early Years?

Our Early Years programme is for children aged 3-5.

Early Years children may arrive as early as 06:30 each day and be cared for as late as 16:30 on Mondays to Fridays.

The EIS Early Years is for children with a variety of backgrounds. Some of the current children in Early Years are from the Danish community while others are from several different countries. Some speak English fluently while others join us without any English ability when they start. We aim to support the learning of all our students regardless of their starting abilities.

Learning is growing: Academically, children in Early Years receive a foundation in basic literacy and numeracy skills. Socially, children in Early Years learn how to play, learn and have fun with children who are “not just like them”. Wonderful friendships regularly develop from such an educational environment!

A diverse school with 67 nationalities

Our school has approximately 300 students and around half of them are enrolled in our Primary Years Programme (PYP).

As we are part of Esbjerg International School, we are fortunate enough to have access to our own library to read and play board games and to our gym to play different games and challenge motor skills and just have plain old fun!

Your working hours

On average, you will work 32 hours a week and mostly in the time span 6:30-16:30.

What do you bring?

You have a collaborative and supportive work style and know how to communicate with all the different people that cross your path. Moreover, you:

  • Have a big heart for children in general - and for 3-5 year-olds specifically
  • Have a pedagogical background and experience working with kids
  • Have open and positive communication with staff and parents
  • Are flexible and openminded
  • Approachable and positive
  • You speak and write English – Danish is not a requirement
