Your position 

In your on-shore position as Electrical Engineer – EX/MC responsible in the Consulting Services team you will be a valuable member of a dedicated team whose mission is to support our clients to achieve success in their energy projects within energy infrastructure within oil & gas industry.

Your place of work will be either at our Global HQ located in Esbjerg or at one of our locations in Copenhagen, Poland or UK. 

The position is full-time and 10 - 50 travel days per year offshore and onshore to clients should be expected.

The set-up

You will be hired as a Semco Maritime employee and work in a team dedicated to one of our national or international customers.

Your tasks & responsibilities

As Electrical Engineer – EX/MC responsible your tasks and responsibilities will encompass, but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for EX activities within given area of responsibility for the project.
  • Planning, preparation, organization and execution of MC/EX activities within areas of responsibility, in accordance with the project procedures and plans.
  • HSE, jointly responsible for health, safety and environmental (HSE) aspects are thoroughly assessed, planned, implemented and followed up for all MC activities within the area of responsibility.
  • Jointly responsible for the establishment of governing documents, 
  • Procedures and work instructions as required for MC within given responsibility.


The tasks will depend on the specific client's needs. 

Your profile & qualifications 

We are looking for a Electrical Engineer profile with experienced within EPC within topside and facilities segment and who is passionate about work process and wants to leave their personal mark on the tasks. You have a proactive and organized approach to your work and are eager to contribute to our clients and your team's success.

To succeed in this position, we imagine that you have:
  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering
  • Ex certified or 5-day EX course (3 theory, 2 day practical).
  • Good knowledge of the work processes within the discipline that is being carried out.
  • Minimum 2-year experience from EPC processes within Topside and facilities / Renewables Segments.
  • Knowledge of MIPS, MS Office 365 and PCS (ProCoSys).
  • Knowledge of Norwegian language is an advantage. 
  • English communication skills both orally and in writing at a professional level.
