Your Position

As a 3D design engineer / Technical designer, you will be involved in greenfield EPCI (Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Installation) contracts for offshore substation projects, where results are created together based on a high level of teamwork, professionalism and dedication.

Your place of work will be at our Global HQ located in Esbjerg, the hub of the Danish energy industry, right on the waterfront – views do not get any better than this. The position is full-time, and you can expect to travel 10-30 days per year.

Your tasks & responsibilities

You will mainly work in our 3D plant environment, and design different systems such as, cooling systems, ventilation systems, cable trays systems, fire extinguishing system and structural support system together with the systems responsible.

We are on an interesting development journey with our 3D environment where your curiosity and skills for optimization and software development will move us in the right direction.

  • 3D design of cable strays, piping, ventilation ducting, supports
  • Preparation of 3D model and 2D drawings
  • Quality control
  • Participate in site inspections during fabrication
  • Insure close cooperation with our design partners
  • Development of item specifications and catalogue
  • Optimize and develop our tools/concept/process - Challenge status quo


Your profile & qualificatons

  • Knowledge in AVEVA E3D, Hexagon BricsCAD/CADworx or similar software
  • Preferred experience within plant design work
  • Your educational background could either be within structural-, mechanical- or marine engineering, technical designer or graduate in production technology
  • You are a dedicated team player with good communication skills understanding the importance in building player with long-term relations
  • You are fluent in Danish and English both in verbal and writing
