In your new position as a Junior Project Planner, you will be a valuable member of the dedicated team, assisting in developing and maintaining project schedules, tracking progress, analysing data, and generating reports.

Your tasks & responsibilities
As a Junior Project Planner, you will be responsible for supporting the planning
and scheduling activities throughout the whole project portfolio, working under the guidance and supervision of head of planning and experienced planners.
Your tasks will include assisting Project Planners in:
- Preparing weekly or monthly reports for internal and external purposes.
- Preparing schedule data for tender proposals, contract negotiations and weekly/monthly progress updates once the project has been awarded.
- Identifying project milestones, deliverables, and other important deadlines.
- Ensuring that schedules and reports are organized properly and up to date.
In addition, you will support the Head of Planning with:
- Data management and quality checks to facilitate department-level resource planning and reporting, maintenance of related software systems.
- Preparation of presentations and project portfolio-level reporting.
- Other small administrative tasks.
You will also attend weekly and monthly coordination meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
Your profile & qualifications
We are looking for an outgoing and curious candidate who is passionate about engineering projects and wants to leave their mark on it. You have a strong interpersonal communication and analytical skills, attention to details and willingness to master the project management, planning and scheduling best practices.
To succeed in this position, we imagine that you have:
- Minimum a bachelor’s degree in engineering (mechanical, electrical, civil), construction management or any other related field.
- Familiarity with project management, planning and scheduling methodologies and techniques.
- Basic knowledge of Primavera P6 is a plus.
- Proficient in MS Excel.
- Familiarity with MS Project, MS Power BI and Smartsheet software will be an advantage.
- Excellent communication skills and fluency in English.
- Motivation to learn and willingness to be tutored by more experienced planners.
This position is an entry level role. Work experience is therefore beneficial however not required.
