Your Position
In your new position as Project Director in our Renewables division, you will have the full responsibility of a complete substation project team in our Large Projects department. From the onshore substation to the offshore substation and wind farm, our team covers every aspect involved in transmitting electricity from offshore turbines to the onshore grid.
As a global leader in offshore substations, we serve clients across diverse markets spanning Europe, Taiwan, and the USA. Your role will be central in leading the growth of our offshore wind business within the substation sector, offering you a thrilling opportunity to be part of shaping the future of renewable energy. Travel in this key position will be required, 30-50 days depending on the clients and consortium partners' locations.
Your Tasks & Responsibilities
As a Project Director, you will take on the full responsibility for executing EPCI Projects, managing the full project life cycle from initial client engagement to delivering the final project. Your tasks will include but are not limited to:
- Lead the project in alignment with our values and leadership philosophy.
- Take full financial responsibility for the project.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Manage our consortium interests with relevant stakeholders.
- Oversee the team and establish project teams to meet deadlines and project goals.
- Conduct status meetings with the Senior Project Manager and demonstrate visible leadership in the office, on-site, and with stakeholders.
Your Profile & Qualifications
As a person, you are known for being proactive, reliable, and trusted by the people you work with. You can build and maintain strong professional relationships with your stakeholders and are passionate about building high-performance project teams. In addition, being able to structure your time with a high degree of flexibility is something you take pride in, as is your solution-oriented approach.
To succeed in this position, we imagine that you have:
- A relevant engineering degree, such as Marine Engineering or similar.
- Extensive Project Management experience, preferably from working with EPCI contracts.
- Strong experience with stakeholder and risk management.
- Drive and commitment with a commercial mindset.
- Excellent verbal and written Danish & English skills.
- Strong leadership skills, emphasizing open and honest communication.
- A focus on visible leadership, ensuring presence in the office, on-site, and in stakeholder interactions.
