Your position

You will join a team of highly specialised and motivated employees located in our technical Protection & secondary team in Renewable’s business area, where we have constructed one of the largest project portfolios within offshore substations in Northern Europe. Our Offshore Wind markets include Europe, Asia and the USA, which means that you can expect to be involved in projects worldwide. You will be part of ensuring that all control & protection project-related tasks are completed meeting our high-quality standards, in time and within project contracts.

The job will involve some travelling to other Semco Maritime offices, subsuppliers and fabrication/offshore sites. On daily basis however, a flexible working environment is sought. In agreement with nearest manager, flexible hours and working from home is possible.

You will travel to different countries and working with team members from multiple cultures. Further you will have the opportunity to involve in both the theoretical and practical aspects of offshore wind farm projects. This is done in an informal atmosphere with high focus on knowledge sharing and development,” says Wen Jui, Venkatesh and Michal from the High Voltage department.

At Semco Maritime, you will be part of an evolving and dynamic working culture, where we do the projects by a “from cradle to grave” philosophy. Add to this a challenging and exciting workday where results are created together based on a high level of professionalism and dedication. We win as a team!

Your tasks & responsibilities

Your tasks will include but are not limited to:

  • Prepare basic and detailed designs, along with philosophies for protection systems at onshore and offshore wind farm substations.
  • Create technical documentation such as purchase specifications, cable lists, and control descriptions, and review supplier designs including IEC61850 designs, protection system schematics, and relay configurations.

  • Participate in factory and site acceptance tests, ensuring they align with the project plan.
  • Engage in commissioning work both onshore and offshore, with provided relevant training.
