Your position 

In your onshore position as Maintenance Engineer in the Consulting Services team, you will be a valuable member of a dedicated team whose mission is to support our clients to achieve success in their energy projects within energy infrastructure within oil & gas.

Your place of work will be either at our Global HQ located in Esbjerg or at one of our locations in Copenhagen, Poland or UK. 

The position is full-time and 10 - 50 travel days per year offshore and onshore to clients should be expected.

The set-up

You will be hired as a Semco Maritime employee and work in a team dedicated to one of our national or international customers.

Your tasks & responsibilities

As a Maintenance Engineer your tasks and responsibilities will encompass, but are not limited to:

  • Preparation of inquiry documents including package specification
  • Performing bid evaluations.
  • Participating in Bid Clarification Meetings (BCM).
  • Contributing to design philosophy and development in the FEED phase.
  • Review and quality assurance of supplier documentation.
  • Updating and giving input to the engineering database.


The tasks will depend on the specific client's needs. 

Your profile & qualifications 

We are looking for a proactive analyst Maintenance Engineer who is passionate about the bid process and wants to leave their personal mark on the tasks and eager to contribute to our clients and your team's success.

To succeed in this position, we imagine that you have:
  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering.
  • 5 years of relevant experience within the energy industry.
  • The ability to work in a team across disciplines.
  • Documented EPC/EPMA project experience.
  • Ability to execute and take responsibility for the projects you are involved in.
  • A solution-orientated approach with a strong technical interest.
  • Knowledge of is COMOS and ProArc will be preferred.
  • Knowledge of sampling systems
  • Knowledge of analysis.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills at a professional level.
