Your position
At Semco Maritime we are looking for an experienced employee with mechanical construction background to fill in an offshore QC position.
As our new Quality Coordinator, you will be working Offshore on our Project in the Danish sector of the North Sea. Here you will be an important part of the offshore team that manages the offshore scope of work, being a combination of maintenance and modification tasks.
The position is expected to be a 5-month contract although this is expected to be extended.
Your tasks & responsibilities
Your main responsibility will be ensuring that our procedures offshore are in compliance with regulatory and quality standards. Furthermore, you must ensure that the completed work comply with legislation and design requirements (MOTS).
Your main tasks will include but are not limited to:
- Quality inspection of work offshore
- Ensuring the identification of changes and providing input for change requests
- Support 3rd party verification
- Closing completed work orders in UNISOL/PIMS
Your profile & qualifications
As a person you have a structured, proactive and systematic approach and you are able to take responsibility. You are known for your ability to cooperate well with everyone around you, and you are used to working with people from different cultural backgrounds.
You take changes well and you enjoy having a lot of different tasks and working in an environment where two days are rarely the same.
To succeed in this position, you should have the following qualifications:
- Technical background, perhaps you are an educated engineer, an authorized mechanic or smith or you have a similar technical background
- Practical experience as an onshore/offshore Discipline Engineer, Quality Coordinator or similar
- Experience with instrumentation at field-end, loop tests and pressure tests
- Any/all of the following offshore certificates is beneficial to have; HUET, MIST, H2S, CA-EBS
- Comfortable in your use and understanding of languages Danish and English
