Your position
As our new Service Engineer in the Renewable division, you will be a valuable member of the Medium and High Voltage Service team, whose mission is to execute Medium and High Voltage Service projects across disciplines for offshore assets e.g. OSS, Rig and WTG. You will have the chance to drive all aspects of the project process - from initial client inquiries to final execution. Your tasks & responsibilities
As a Service Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and executing MV & HV Service projects with cross-functional teams, external partners, and customers. You will be responsible from the initiation and tender of the project, to deliver a solution and finally execute it offshore. This happens collaborating with various teams across the organisation and externally. While you can expect a steep learning curve, we will provide you with the needed training to ensure you succeed in your new role.

Your tasks will include but are not limited to:

  • You will have the end-to-end responsibility for specific projects in the MV & HV Service team, from tender, clarification, planning, and execution.
  • Driving projects with team members and stakeholders to reach deadlines, managing risk, scope, and budget.
  • Coordinating project related activities across various teams internally and externally.
  • Ensure proper and streamlined communication to stakeholders in all parts of the projects.
  • Hands-on Offshore for Special Technical Testing and Trouble shooting.
  • Running smaller and bigger projects at the same time together with the project teams
  • Coordinate and plan work packages for execution, both on- and offshore.
  • Maintaining communication with clients and addressing their inquiries and concerns during initiation and execution of projects. 

Your profile & qualifications

As a person, you enjoy having a lot of responsibility and you thrive in an environment where you have daily communication with many stakeholders. You are driven by completing tasks to the best of your ability and remain in control even in fast-paced situations. You have a safety focused mindset, and never compromise when it comes to safety on the job.  Additionally, you are service-minded and greatly enjoy collaborating with your colleagues.

To succeed in this position, we imagine that you have:

  • Experience as a Project Manager, Technical Manager from Offshore industry.
  • Broad know-how of MV and HV systems and technologies from the Offshore wind industry.
  • Broad knowledge of Electrical Systems: High, Medium and Low Voltage.
  • The educational background is broad but could be as Marine Engineer, Technical Manager or Engineer.
  • Fluency in English, written and verbal.
  • Experience with project management of larger and smaller scale projects or programs.
  • Ability to communicate in German is an advantage, but not a requirement.
