Your position
In your new position as a Digital Marketing Specialist at Semco Maritime, you will join our Group Marketing team whose mission is to drive brand growth and support the business. From providing strategic guidance to offering operational support, we serve as a partner to all divisions across our business, ensuring cohesive and impactful marketing efforts throughout the company.
Here, you will have the unique opportunity to shape our global digital presence and crafting impactful initiatives and campaigns that resonate with our audiences. Above all, your work will make a real change for the global energy sector.
Your place of work will be at our Global HQ located in Esbjerg, the hub of the Danish energy industry, right on the waterfront – views do not get any better than this. The position is full-time, and you can expect to travel a few days per year.

Your tasks & responsibilities
As a Digital Marketing Specialist, you will use your data-driven mindset to drive our digital marketing efforts to new heights. This includes managing our website, coordinating digital campaigns, and developing strategies alongside our Head of Marketing.
Your tasks will include but are not limited to:
- Managing and optimizing our existing website (Hubspot) – and exploring the possibilities for a brand-new website
- Utilizing marketing automation for lead generation and nurturing (Hubspot)
- Developing a comprehensive digital marketing strategy in collaboration with the Head of Marketing
- Mapping and enhancing our digital marketing toolbox
- Monitoring and analysing metrics to provide insights and recommendations for campaign optimization and online presence enhancement
Your profile & qualifications
We are looking for an outgoing and enthusiastic marketing professional who is passionate about digital marketing and wants to leave their personal mark on it. You are proactive, well-organised and enjoy being part of a team. You think digital first and have a keen eye for growth opportunities.
To succeed in this position, we imagine that you have:
- Experience in a marketing or communications role, preferably within international B2B
- A relevant educational background
- Expertise in working with KPIs and targets
- Experience with data analysis and a strong interest in digital marketing trends and technologies
- Fluency in English at a corporate level
