As part of our strategic goals within QHSE we are looking for an exceptional individual for the position as QHSE Manager/Specialist - Regions EU.

At the head office in Esbjerg, Denmark - you will become part of the global QHSE department and a team of local and global colleagues in the global QHSE- and service organization. Further, you will have reference to the Global QHSE Manager, located in Norway.

We continuously strengthen our QHSE performance across the global service organization as we grow. The position as QHSE Manager/Specialist - Regions EU is a newly created position and this gives you the possibility to influence on the content of the job.

As an QHSE Manager/Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Securing implementation and operation of the VIKING QHSE Management System
  • Support, encourage and guide the organization in respect of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO45001 knowledge, active use of the QHSE Management System and to put focus on the importance of doing continuous improvements. Follow up of global QHSE objectives
  • Implement/Maintaining and contribute to development of VIKING´s Global Management System (VMS) and ensure compliance with the Standards of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 17020 and ISO 17025 and local requirements in each country as needed
  • Monitoring external audit activities and ensure Non-conformances and opportunities for improvement are completed and closed.
  • Report to management on the performance of the QHSE system and any need for improvements
  • Secure proper implementation and maintaining of all QHSE related documents (including 5S) in compliance with company guidelines and local regulations
  • Responsible for carrying out internal audit in Regions EU as agreed upon with Global QHSE

Annually, you must expect in between 40 and 60 travel days within the EU.

Your profile
The ideal person has preferably 3-5 years in a similar position with experience from an international company and holds a ISO lead auditor certificate.

Other than that:

  • Able to navigate in a global organization with many passionate stakeholders
  • Self-driven and independent approach
  • Strong communicator and able to express yourself fluently in English and Danish
  • Your working style is relationship-building, innovative and professional - with a "can do" attitude

If you have experience with maritime or offshore safety industry or similar - it’s an advantage, but not a requirement.

Your personality is also important. We expect you to be proactive, curious and detail-orientated.
