As student assistant in Service Excellence Operational, you will become a part of Global Service with 70 employees placed in 8 different countries. Global Service supporting the VIKING Strategy of Servitization, as we constantly are improving, optimizing and developing our service business all over the world.
Student assistants are an important part of the VIKING organization. Many of our students also complete their internships with us and write their thesis about real life projects and challenges in VIKING.
When you start your career in VIKING, you will become part of our strong Young VIKING Network where more than 45 ambitious trainees, graduates and student assistants get together to boost personal and professional development – and participate in social events. Your primary responsibilities and tasks is to participate in business development projects on both strategic and operational level within Global Service. You will also be working with:
- Coordination of different project related tasks
- Participate in development of processes, systems and operations
- Collections of data
- Converting data into presentable materials
- Testing of solutions
- Stakeholder communication
- Ad hoc tasks
You will work approximately 20 hours a week (2-3 full days) – with flexibility around exam periods.
Your profile
The ideal candidate is:
- Currently studying a B.Sc or a M.Sc within the fields of business administration, strategy or similar and have at least 1 year left of studies
- User of Excel and Power Point and find it important to convert data in to presentable materials
- Structured, detail oriented and responsible – taking ownership of tasks and projects while seeing them through from start to finish
- Systematic, committed and ambitious – facing all types of challenges with a can-do attitude
- Display eagerness to learn and develop, using creativity to challenge the status quo
- See yourself as a true team player
Since our corporate language is English, you have great English skills – both written and orally.
