Are you an experienced and motivated electrical engineer or Manager, and do you want to leave your mark on the global energy transition? If so, we want to hear from you!

Your position

In your new position as Manager in the Renewables division, you will be a valuable member of the dedicated Engineering Studies team whose mission is to supply best in class work on Concepts, Pre-FEEDs and FEED studies within offshore renewables on offshore substations, PtX and electrical transmission studies. You will have the chance to manage a team of dedicated experts working on the forefront of technology in the offshore renewables business. Above all, your work will make a real change for the global energy transition. The first steps towards a greener future.

"Being actively involved in tackling the technical challenges that arise and collaborating on innovative solutions is an incredibly fulfilling aspect of my position. It allows me to continuously engage with cutting-edge developments in the offshore renewable energy sector and contribute meaningfully to the advancement of our projects and industry as a whole.” says John Olsen, Senior Manager of Studies & HVDC

Your tasks & responsibilities
As a Manager in the Studies team, you will be responsible for resource planning, project management and technical solutions ranging from early stage in project development to supporting design and development execution throughout all phases of the projects. You will have a brave and dedicated team of electrical, mechanical and energy engineers in reports.

Your tasks will include, but are not limited to:

  • Ensuring coherence of technical solutions across projects within our project portfolio together with Head of Studies & HVDC and other internal stakeholders
  • Employing coordination and planning skills as we collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Participate in planning, scoping and tender activities in engineering estimates
  • Demonstrating broad technical proficiency in the Engineering Studies segment from Concept to FEED
  • Taking responsibility for updating and maintaining our way of working and improving the offering development on Engineering Studies

Your profile & qualifications
We are looking for someone who is eager to learn, passionate about complex technical tasks, but also wants to leverage own learnings to team, lead and wants to leave their personal mark on it. You have practical experience working with similar tasks, and potentially you have “hands-on” experience from working with complex engineering studies. You are eager to improve operations and improve processes.

To succeed in this position, we imagine that you have:

  • A technical educational background, such as electrical power engineer or similar within the field of transmission systems and power generation
  • Preferably experience from a leading role - you don’t want to leave the technical expertise completely and you like working with development of people
  • High standards and are eager for sharing your knowledge with the Team, Projects and the Department
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills; you can delegate effectively and work best from a calm profile and structured overview
  • Great written and verbal communication skills in English as we work internationally

Your place of work will be at our Global HQ located in Esbjerg, the hub of the Danish energy industry, our Copenhagen Office, or Gdynia in Poland. The position is full-time, and you can expect to travel 10-30 days per year.
