Are you experienced within tender management, and do you have ambitions to improve your skills in a professional community delivering support, sparring and development to you? Do you see yourself run end-to-end processes of tendering with a focus on ensuring progress as well as accuracy? And are you looking for a workspace in a global company with a “green agenda” within renewables? Then this might be the dream position for you.

Your position
As Tender Manager you are responsible for overseeing the end-to-end process of tendering – from identifying opportunities to submission and engaging in post-submission activities.

You will join a team within Renewables Service Sales & Tender with 7 colleagues located in Denmark, Germany and UK. We are a global company with a dedicated focus on getting the best employees rather than geography – thus you may freely choose between one of our North European offices.

Your tasks and responsibilities
This role requires a deep understanding of the company’s services, as well as excellent coordination, commercial, technical, and communication skills. You collaborate with various departments to compile comprehensive and competitive tender submissions, ensuring compliance with client requirements and deadlines as well as keeping the control over the company’s internal approval process. Thus, your tasks will include but are not limited to:

  • Proactively following tender opportunities and analysing tender documents
  • Gathering information for the tender submission followed by developing and maintaining a tender plan
  • Ensuring documentation and compliance e.g. all tender documents must be accurately completed and submitted on time and in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
  • Collaborating with Finance & Pricing teams to develop cost estimates and calculation tools
  • Executing proposal writing and leading the development of compelling and well-structured tender proposals highlighting unique selling points and value proposition
  • Ensuring quality assurance through thorough reviews of tender submissions and implementing quality assurance processes
  • Engaging in post-submission activities such as clarifications, negotiations and feedback sessions

Common to the tasks are Relationship Management. It means that you foster positive relationship with clients, partners, and relevant stakeholders as well as you attend bid meetings, site visits, and other interactions to understand client needs and build rapport.

Your profile
We are looking for a candidate with proven experience in Tender Management - preferably from the Offshore Wind Industry. You hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business, Marketing or a related field and you are familiar with legal and regulatory requirements related to tendering – also you are experienced in using tender management software and Microsoft Office 365.

We are not concerned with a specific level of your experiences; we are willing to invest in developing you – however we expect you to be fully dedicated as well.

To succeed as our Tender Manager, you have strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and collaborations without compromising the quality assurance. You are focused, structured, self-driven and know that it is key to understand products and services to create results; therefore, you demonstrate analytical and strategic thinking skills as well as you have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English – fluency in German is a plus.
