Your position 
As our new Senior Sales and Business Development Manager, you will join our Sales Team, where you will be responsible for growing and further develop our onshore energy sales strategy in the coming years. You will refer directly to the Vice President, Bente Droob. 

”In this role, you are the key player in developing and executing our new business area within energy infrastructure projects mainly onshore covering PtX, CCUS, Geothermic, heat storage etc.. You will join an amazing team of colleagues – and you will be working closely with sales colleagues, the legal department, project managers, engineers, and the tender team,” – says Vice President, Bente Droob.   

Your tasks will include but are not limited to: 

  • Improve market position as part of strategic growth ambitions 
  • Strategy Sales Management 
  • Analyse customers, market, trends and sales data 
  • Proactively identify, review and act on new business opportunities 
  • Prepare and execute sales plans 
  • Plan, prepare and implement customer meetings 
  • Review complex tender material 
  • Prepare offers for both small- and large-scale tenders 
  • Calculate large and complex offers 
  • Develop and lead the sales strategy process 
  • Develop and maintain strong and close relations with clients 
  • Develop and mature Semco Maritime concepts 
  • Give input to budget and strategy objectives 
  • Find and develop business partners for various projects, if required. 

Your profile & qualifications 
You are a motivated and solution-oriented sales professional who is self-driven and wants to engage in and work as part of a team. 

To succeed in this position, we imagine that you have the following qualifications: 

  • Strong sales background and solid management skills, with experience in the Energy Industry, and you are self-driven by goals and results. 
  • Focus on commercial activities and customer needs. 
  • Customers see you as a valuable, inspiring, and trustworthy partner. 
  • You can capture market trends and customer needs, and you find it easy to transform your thoughts and ideas into action. 
  • You are persistence and maintain your goal. 
  • Engineering or other technical background is an advantage. 
  • Previous experience within EPC contracts   
  • Excellent communication skills in Danish and English, and you can establish relationships based on trust and close cooperation.
