Your position
In your new position as Team Lead in the Renewables division, you will be a valuable member of the dedicated Automation & Control team. Here, you will manage a team of dedicated Automation & Control engineers working on offshore substation design and installations.

The Renewables division has created one of the largest project portfolios within offshore substations in Northern Europe, Our Offshore Wind markets include Europe, Taiwan and USA, which means that you can expect to be involved in projects worldwide.

Your tasks & responsibilities
As a Team Lead in the Automation & Control team, you will be responsible for resource planning, technical solutions ranging from project development to supporting design and development execution throughout all phases of the projects.

Your tasks will include, but are not limited to: 

  • Ensuring coherence of technical solutions across 7-9 projects within our project portfolio. 
  • Employing coordination and planning skills as we collaborate with our Product Line on technical innovation and digitalization, researching cost levels and engineering estimates for upcoming tenders.
  • Demonstrating broad technical proficiency in Automation, control and SCADA systems, preferably knowledge with Siemens S7/TIA portal and Fire Alarm Systems would be an advantage. 
  • Taking responsibility for updating and maintaining our technical requirements and specifications, in consultation with both internal and external stakeholders.

Your profile & qualifications
We are looking for someone who is eager to learn, ambitious enough to walk the extra mile and always brings a positive attitude. You have practical experience working with similar solutions and installations, and potentially you have “hands-on” experience from working with integrating and getting the systems up and running on a construction site.

To succeed in this position, we imagine that you have: 

  • A technical educational background, such as marine engineer, electrical engineer or similar within the field of automation and control or related domains. 
  • Preferably experience from a leading role - you don’t want to leave the technical expertise completely and you like working with development of people. 
  • High standards and are eager for sharing your knowledge with the Team, Projects and the Department. 
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills; you can delegate effectively and work best from a calm profile and structured overview. 
  • Great written and verbal communication skills in English as we work internationally.
